Shonam Lata joined the Fueling Brain Academy family in 2016, first as an assistant in the Senior Right Brain room and then Lead Teacher in the Movement room. Originally from the island of Fiji, Shonam moved to Canada and began her career in 2010. After completing her Early Learning and Childcare Education diploma from Bow Valley College, she began working with infants and toddlers in several different childcare environments. Not long after working across several FBA campuses in multiple capacities, Shonam was brought on as Assistant Director at the Centennial campus. Her strong and steady presence as a leader quickly saw her move on to become the Centre Director there. Currently, Shonam has taken on the privilege of running Fueling Brains Academy’s flagship Beltline campus.
